Twenty One Weeks

Had another dream about both the kids this time. We were just out and about and we were having so much fun! It was a pleasant dream. I think 'the more the merrier' definitely applies to our little family and am looking forward to having so much fun together.

We celebrate Drew's first birthday tomorrow. And No.2 is already more than halfway ready to come out. I know it's a broken record with me, but I can't believe this much time is gone already. It makes me sad to think how quickly it goes and how soon this little baby will be celebrating his/her first and then shortly after that walking out the door to go to college. It's certainly a lesson in learning to appreciate the moment you are in. I remind myself that this may be my last pregnancy and try to commit the feelings and movements to memory. But I know soon enough it will be over and the best will be yet to come, but it will be bittersweet.

Im enjoying having you in there for now little No.2. I felt you move this morning when I woke up and enoyed spending those quiet moments with you. I love you!

Twenty Two Weeks

I am growing more attached to you each day. I have to remind myself to really appreciate that I have you all to myself right now, because soon enough you will not want to be held because you have so many places to go and explore!

I bought something for you finally. It's been hard to buy anything up till now because we don't know what you are, but I feel like I've been neglecting you in that manner. So, at Old Navy yesterday I bought you a halloween onesie that has a skeleton on it. So you're all ready for Halloween 2010. You'll have fun with your big brother trick or treating and carving pumpkins. We'll have fun going to Red Barn Farm and looking at the farm animals and eating kettle corn together! Until then, rest easy little one and be in peace knowing that we are excited to meet you!

Twenty Three Weeks

While shopping with Andrew yesterday, we had a helpful salesman who has eight children. With his expertise in the pregnancy arena, he observed that I was carrying low and that the baby was a girl. I was happy with that speculation but I don't know if I am just trying to prepare myself for another boy, or if I really do feel like it is, but I just think of this little one inside as a little brother to Drew. Only 17 weeks to find out. Holy Cow!
